The warm, earthy tones made it simple to create everyday looks like brown smokey eyes or quick definition using the darker shades as liner. I appreciated how blendable the shadows were; they didn't require much effort to achieve a smooth finish. Another plus was the staying power. After a long day at work and an evening out, there was minimal creasing - impressive for someone with combo skin like mine.

While I loved the LORAC Noir eyeshadow palette, I was very disappointed with the LORAC Holiday Collection Holy Soleil Set. The shimmers were missing something, no real shimmer or pigment. The mats had a lot of fallout. I returned this set/palette.
